I couldn't believe it when I thrifted this trench cape! It's a little heavy and constructed from a lovely fabric, (synthetic, but feels almost silky?) It was in the extra-large section of the coats and I usually fit small/medium, but it goes to show that when thrifting - HUNT EVERYWHERE! Sizing can be off or someone can pick up a garment and shove it back in the wrong section. I thrifted a pair of tweed shorts a couple days ago that were marked a size 1-2 and fit. (I'm a size 6 - pretty far away from a size 1-2.)
Anyway, I have had an internet obsession with Dahlia for over a year now. I love their vintage-inspired dresses and blouses! This dress was one of those online ordered pieces that actually looks better in real life than on the internet. The fabric overlay is a peachy-cream chiffon, over a thicker silky lining. I've received a ton of compliments on it and it's so comfortable. (Something that is becoming more and more key for me - comfort!)

I love this Dahlia dress, its so beautiful and the black accents really make it pop. The cape is SUCH an exciting thrift find! I completely agree you need to look everywhere in the store, hence why it takes me so long in a single store!
